Baby Lookbook

I'm home for Christmas and I'm having the time of my life because I have a new niece who is truly adorable. This baby I swear already has more clothes than I do . Today I went through little Mara's closet and styled everything out and made a little lookbook for her.

Here are some of my favourite looks:

Friday look

In the spirit of Julie Andrews I have compiled my very own list of current favourite things so when the dog bites or the bee stings I can think of them and not feel so bad.


1. my vintage watch
I found this at Used House of Vintage last Saturday and I don't remember life before it.

2. nars lipstick in "heat wave"
Red lipstick is tricky business. A good shade will make you feel like a real woman while another shade  could make you feel like a complete fool all day long.  Nars has perfect-red down to a science with heatwave.

3. M83's latest album "Hurry Up We're Dreaming"
When I'm not listening to Christmas music these days I'm probably listening to this

4. my black western ankle boots
I'm struggling to find something that I don't want to wear these with

5. watching "It's a Wonderful Life" at Christmas

On a cold Sunday like today, I cant tell you how glad I am that I have the coziest cardigan in the whole wide world.

Today I went for a nice afternoon walk around town and hit some of my favourite spots. Morning Tea at Redheads,  then I went to go daydream at Kit (I need everything there), stopped by the Paul Kuhn Gallery, and then went to Used House of Vintage and picked up a really great watch which I'm really excited about. Now all I need to do is pick up some butter so I can get going on my Christmas baking! I love Saturdays.
